Jaisalmer
Also known as the Golden City, Jaisalmer is dotted with many tourist attractions. A tour of the town takes you in some very interesting places such as the Jaisalmer Fort on the Trikuta hill. Jaisalmer is noted for its intricately latticed havelis with prominent porticos. Salim Singh ki Haveli, Patwon ki Haveli and Nathmalji ki Haveli are some of the most famous. A visit to the sand dunes of the place is an absolute must to get an insight into the desert life of Rajasthan.

Jaisalmer is a real outback town. Though it does not have modern
shopping malls but it is virtually on its own out there in the
desert. The 'must do' is a Jaisalmer Town Tour. The place abounds
in ancient temples, palaces and quaint wood- and stone-carved
mansions.
